This stunning stone features layers of translucent hues that remind me of looking into a deep pool filled with mottled browns, greens, and rich dark purples, all highlighted by shimmering copper overtones that catch the light beautifully. Each time I gaze at it, new details reveal themselves—truly a remarkable gem. It was sold to me as Gem Silica, also known as “Chrysocolla Chalcedony,” and I believe it’s a fine example of Chrysocolla combined with Native Copper, originating from Indonesia.
To complement its natural beauty, I’ve carefully hand-set the stone in an elegant, chunky Sterling silver frame – deliberately kept simple to allow the stone to be the star. On the back, I’ve crafted a pattern that lets light filter through, revealing a small section in the top left that is completely translucent… though that subtle detail remains your own little secret when worn.
Every aspect of this exquisite pendant, except for the stone itself, has been handmade by me from scratch. It comes with a Sterling silver necklace, available in your choice of 16 or 18 inches in length.
