This hand made pendant features a Boulder Matrix Opal which is sourced from Queensland, Australia and weighs in at 27 carat. The stone intially appears very dark with a lighter pattern that looks like a wood grain. However, put this pendant in a strong light and it displays a host of little glints of bright green opal.
I have set it in an elegant chunky Sterling silver frame that is understated as so to let this amazing opal do the talking. On the reverse, I’ve created a complementary design which allows parts of this lovely stone to be visible.
Every element of this pendant has been handmade by myself from scratch apart from the stone itself. It comes with a Sterling silver necklace of which you can choose either 16 or 18 inch length.
