This beautiful Shattuckite pendant features a pear shaped gemstone with a real depth of colour – dark blues blending with a natural hint of dark red. To me it looks like a deep pool of water and the stone’s slightly rippled texture just adds to the illusion.
I have hand set it in a swoop of Sterling silver with a thicker edge at the bottom, emphasising the elegant pear shape. On the reverse, I’ve created a wave style design which allows parts of this lovely stone to be visible.
Every element of this Shattuckite pendant has been handmade by myself from scratch apart from the stone itself. It comes with a Sterling silver necklace of which you can choose either 16 or 18 inch length.
