I’ve just booked a table at Bearsted Craft Fair on 25th March and thought it would be great to have my recent workshop video playing on my stall. I have a very elderly ipad which would be ideal but it had a smashed screen after it fell onto the kitchen floor and was pretty unusable. However i figured that it did still work and would make an ideal video photo frame.
Anyway.. i decided i’d have a go at fixing it and bought a cheap replacement screen kit from Amazon. I didn’t really believe that i could do it but the kit was the cost of one pair of my small resin earrings versus buying a new video photo frame which would have cost at least three pairs.… And thanks to several Youtube tutorials … it worked!! Here’s a few photos of the process!
