This brown Tibetan turquoise started life as an oval bead, later recut and transformed into a flat-backed stone by slicing it in half. I was instantly drawn to it and loved the idea that it had been repurposed – imagine the journeys this beautiful bead may have taken in a previous life.
I’ve hand-set it in Sterling silver to create a simple yet elegant pendant. On the back, I’ve added a cut-out design that reveals the stone’s underside while discreetly hiding the original groove where the bead was once strung.
Every part of this pendant has been handcrafted by me from scratch, with the exception of the stone itself. It comes with a Sterling silver chain in your choice of 16 or 18 inches.
