This stunning Koroit Boulder Opal Pendant has at its centre a 19.75 carat Koroit boulder opal from Queensland, Australia. This particular stone features a lovely intricate pattern laced with purple and blue flashes. I have set the stone in an elegant chunky Sterling silver frame that is deliberately understated to let this amazing opal do all the talking.
On the reverse, I have created a complementary design which allows parts of this lovely stone to be visible.
Whenever this opal catches the light you see the small glints of purply blue pop and shine, giving the stone an extra dimension and depth.
I always buy my Boulder Opals direct from the mines in Australia. I absolutely love that each stone is individual and completely unique in it’s combination of shape, colours, patterns and brightness.
Every element of this Koroit boulder opal pendant has been handmade by myself from scratch, other than the stone itself. It comes with a Sterling silver necklace of which you can choose either 16 or 18 inch length.
