I’m truly captivated by this stone, and it was a delight to hand-set it in Sterling Silver, creating a beautifully eye-catching pendant. It is an example of authentic Treasure Mountain Turquoise from Qingu, Hubei in Central China which is famous for its rich colors and distinctive patterns. The stone itself boasts a vibrant turquoise blue, accented by a bold black matrix and a subtle brownish-orange hue near the bottom.
I’ve encased it in a chunky yet simple Sterling silver frame designed to let the stone shine. The connecting ring is intentionally oversized to complement the symmetry between the triangular bail and the teardrop pendant. On the back, a minimalist cutout reveals the stone’s reverse side
Everything in this pendant, except for the stone, has been handcrafted by me from the ground up. It includes a Sterling silver chain available in either 16 or 18 inches.
